FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS FOR TRANSFERS

The agreement may be transferred to another private purchaser, provided that the requisite fee and documentation are submitted to the administrator within the specified timeframe. Please see your service agreement for more details.

In order to transfer an active service agreement please submit a request in writing to P.O. Box 1075, Mountain Home, AR 72654. The request will need to include a duly signed bill of sale or title, an odometer disclosure statement or notarized statement of mileage at the time of sale, and a $50.00 transfer fee in the form of a money order or personal check made payable to Route 66 Extended Warranty. The request will need to be submitted to the administrator within 10 days from the date of sale. If the service agreement was purchased in Florida, the transfer fee is $40.00 and the request must be received within 15 days of the sale date. If the service agreement was purchased in Nevada, the transfer fee is $25.00. If the service agreement was purchased in 2024 or after, the request must be submitted by the original contract holder. A notarized statement of mileage is a legal document that records and verifies a vehicle's mileage during a change in ownership.

A notarized odometer statement or odometer disclosure statement may be obtained through the Department of Motor Vehicles.

The administrator will consider a duly signed and fully completed bill of sale or title as valid proof of ownership.
